Dr. Jennifer Fernandez is a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) who combines a comprehensive range of treatment approaches to support her patients’ healing and well-being. Since earning her Doctorate from Touro College in 2019, she has specialized in manual therapy for orthopedic conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, and both acute and chronic pain management. Drawing on her certifications as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) and Pilates Instructor, she integrates yoga, Pilates, and mindful movement into her treatments to enhance strength, flexibility, and body awareness. Additionally, through her own pregnancy and postpartum experiences, Dr. Fernandez developed a strong focus on pelvic health, offering specialized care for pelvic pain, incontinence, pelvic floor weakness, and childbirth preparation and recovery. By tailoring each treatment plan to the individual, Dr. Fernandez helps patients recover from surgery, manage pain, and improve overall function, supporting them in living pain-free, vibrant lives.

Marina Pozzi is a Physical Therapist and manual osteopath with a specialization in manual therapy, craniosacral therapy, visceral mobilization and Pilates rehabilitation. She has been studying and practicing for over 8 years beginning with her studies in Physical Therapy. Marina fell in love with Pilates back in 2016, first as a client, and quickly decided that becoming a certified Pilates instructor would benefit her patients’ treatment plans and outcomes. She studied Pilates in Milan and has taught Classical repertoire for both fitness and rehabilitative clients.

Marina shares an integrative approach that creates opportunities for improved overall health and wellness. She has experience with patients across the lifespan and is able to adapt her approach effectively to each individual based on their unique needs. She is passionate about anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics and integrates her knowledge into a thorough treatment plan.

Marina was born and raised and Italy and is a recent transplant to NYC. She believes the combination of physical activity with high-quality movement is important to overall health. Marina has a holistic viewpoint and works to personalize each patient’s experience with empathy and enthusiasm.

Dr. Alejandra Martinez Bhasin is a Physical Therapist with certifications in Pilates, massage therapy, craniosacral therapy, and strength and conditioning. She began her journey into healing and rehabilitation in 2003 as an aspiring Massage Therapist. She has received her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York University with specialization in manual therapy, Pilates rehab, craniosacral therapy, preventative care and wellness. Alejandra is a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT) with training through Polestar Pilates Studio/Rehab and Power Pilates.

Her approach is integrative and holistic–encompassing mindfulness with healing and working beyond pain. She believes in one-on-one individualized treatment that empowers patients/clients to participate in their healing.

Her vision for Aura is to create a healing environment that promotes the upmost quality in individualized care while embracing creativity and innovation in treatment strategies and mind/body integration.
